Time and chance lead to the formation of Cochrane Photography in 1980. We have seen ‘styles’ come and go and sometimes come again, the tools have changed considerably. What remains consistent is a belief in inventive and appropriate solutions for clients. A variety of client needs results in a variety of solutions. The categories are not always neat and tidy but that said, we offer architectural, portrait, product, lifestyle and location photography to large and small corporations, developers, hotels and government organizations.

We are hired for our experience, versatility, and ability to solve problems in a unique way. The word creative seems to have lost its meaning but I know we are inventive.

Awards / Peer Recognition

Our job is to provide effective and appropriate solutions for a client, this may or may not win the approbation of our peers. We’ve been lucky enough that with good art direction, good copy and good design, our work has been included in some of the most sought after awards shows in North America. Communication Arts photgraphy annual, Applied Arts magazine awards, the Print Digital Annual awards, the Advertising and Design Club of Canada awards, the ARC awards, CAPIC awards, Marketing magazine awards, of course local award shows the ADA and the IABC awards. No other Ottawa photographer can claim to being included in so many prestigious publications.
